For your consideration: The loss of equipment after death has long been a controversial subject and I would like to tie it up. It has been suggested that some sort of system to allow people a chance at getting their equipment back would be appreciated. At present, if you can't get your eq yourself, and there is no immortal online, you are lost. So what do we do? A number of options then. We can make it so corpses never decay until they are empty. We can have a system where people can make an offering to the Gods in return for their items back. I imagine this to work something like "offer gods 10000000 gold" - "the gods are kind are return your corpse" This would roll on each item in your corpse and return the items. The roll would depend in some way on level / gold. Finally for now, the quest system could be improved to allow you to buy your corpse back with quest points. Basically cut out the immortal - but i am worried about coding that. Some questions for you in regards to that - What about corpse eaters? What about all the skills there to allow cr? It undermines summon corpse and remember for sure, and maybe others... should there be recompense? Thoughts welcome!

More options, please reply with any other ideas or mention the one you like the most.
Sabian gives you an 'insurance' coin, to be redeemed on an item, the item redeemed on would work like a storekey, always with you.
Another option is you can buy them coins for Tokens or high amounts of QP, or Gold.
Another is that, in the event of a certain command i've been waiting for, they get dropped around the mud, rarely, unannounced, and if you find it, you redeem it with an imm on an item.
With all of these, there was in idea to cap the amount you can have insured or not, 5 was thrown out, and containers would be denied, but we can negotiate that higher, lower, away, so on.
